ISG are increasing security of our Office 365 for The Salvation Army New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga & Samoa by enforcing Multifactor Authentication (MFA).
Multi factor authentication (MFA) is a security method of authentication where two categories of credentials verifies the user's identity for a login. In our case this is a password and a authentication code either through a text, or through the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Sharing and permissions for Groups or Contacts is best advised by contacting the ISG Service Desk and explaining what you wish to achieve.
All FAQ’s for Microsoft Teams are here. At this stage, ISG will continue to create teams for everyone to ensure naming consistency and management of file storage. When you require a team created, please raise a ticket with ISG Service Desk advising the Team name and member email addresses.

I also would have appreciated a bit more info on E1 vs E3 as they are quite different (not even sure I have the write codes there but I assume you will know what I mean).

365 is very slow and clunky (moving folders from the G drive to One Drive was problematic and incomplete), so I have continued using the Google drive until things speed up. I only have an E1 license. Can you tell me if it is slow because I am E1, or because things haven't fully transitioned

The speed of Office365 is primarily dependant on your internet connection as everything is online cloud based. Please contact the ISG Service Desk if this issue persists. However, ISG will be dealing with file storage as Phase II of the Office 365 project. Currently we recommend you continue to use your current file storage ie. Google Drive or Centre Server.

Only complaint is I like the idea of a shared diary but cant figure out how to just make a note in my diary that does not make me busy like my turn to do something or its a particular theme we are following or someone is visiting.

A prompt to save using One Drive keeps popping up - are we supposed to be using this yet?

OneDrive is not being actively used at this time. Please continue to use your current file storage ie. Google Drive or Centre Server. Microsoft File Storage and the move of all TSA documents to cloud storage will occur as Phase II of the Office 365 project at which stage, ISG will liaise with each centre to ascertain needs and scope of the change.
